The charms of southwest Euskadi, in particular the beach resorts and town of Biarritz, are a short hop across the border. Or travel due east to explore the rugged Pyrenees. To the west, Euskadi offers the mountains and coastline, the terminus of the pilgrim route to Euskadi. Head south to Vitoria and central La Rioja.
